About me
For the past 34 years, I have fulfilled a teaching role in my community. Having worked in a variety of primary schools across the region, I have always enjoyed working with and supporting families. Being a teacher has provided me with invaluable skills such as empathy, diplomacy and understanding. I see Celebrancy as an extension of this role.
I am an accomplished public speaker, who is confident and relatable and my aim is to create the perfect ceremony for you, making sure to treat you and your family with integrity and respect.
I am based in Newcastle in the north east of England but also cover Gateshead, Sunderland, South Tyneside, North Tyneside and Durham. I would also consider travelling outside of my local area if needed.
Having trained with The International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC), I am part of a unique, global community of celebrants, who support one another in their professional practice.
Being invited to work with families, couples and individuals at significant milestones in their lives is an honour as well as extremely rewarding.
You will have my devoted attention. I will endeavour to create a tailor-made, unique ceremony with attention given to every detail. My speech may recount cherished memories, unforgettable experiences and often use humour to create a ceremony with love at its centre.
